"Truly Believe" - New Kit & A Freebie

Hi everyone! Hope you're all having a fantastic December so far! I just love the holiday season and have a couple more seasonal kits planned for you. Today's is called "Truly Believe" and is loosely based on the idea behind "The Polar Express".

This has been one of my mom's favorite books for years and years and we always read it around Christmas time. I think the bell may still ring for her. :) Now it's becoming one of my son's favorite's. I hope that in a few years the boys will be big enough to really enjoy one of those "Polar Express" rides! This is my youngest's first Christmas and we got him a bell with a quote from the book. He's enjoyed swinging it around and ringing it ever since it came out of the box! LOL!

I wanted the kit to be versatile enough to show off all kinds of Christmas/wintery layouts, so you'll find lots of snow and bells, plus silhouettes of things like Santa, reindeer, and Santa's sleigh. I hope you enjoy it! It will be just $2 for the next week - a great deal!

Happy Veteran's/Rememberance/Poppy Day (or around here: Happy Birthday to my sweet hubby). Actually, speaking of my sweet hubby...how'd you like to win my latest kit? Well, did you guys have an absolutely awesome time this weekend with all the DSD goings-on? Hopefully you completely a lot of new layouts and took advantage of some great deals with all the sales. Brrr...well, October hit and suddenly there's a chill in the air here and I'm excited to show you some of the new stuff happening this month over at Stuff to Scrap!

First up are some awesome new challenges! I've been missing them as I cut back on my scrapping time the past few months and I'm excited to start diving in again. I've already taken some great fall pictures and need to get them into layouts, so the fall-themed challenges should be just the ticket. Check them out here in the forum. The Song Lyric Challenge is firmly on my to do list this month - just think of all the possibilities:

Well, it's felt like spring has hit us hard and is moving on here. I feel like we've missed out on the lovely flowers and cool weather I normally love and we've gotten hit with storms and now heat! Blah! My latest kit has kept me somewhat sane though as I focused on springy daisies. This kit is actually a total reworking of a mini I made about a year ago. Although I don't normally use a lot of flowers in my layouts, I've been using this kit to scrap some recent pictures of the boys in their bright spring-colored outfits.

I've got a fun new kit to share with you today. It started off with some word art I created for the STS April Build-A-Kit. Since those came out just after I had kiddo-ditto, I didn't have a chance to do as much with it as I'd like. :-P But after a bit more time, I've added in some greens and love how the kit turned out. It's going to be perfect for scrapping pics of my bigger munchkin playing outside after all the rain we've had! DH was just commenting during our evening walk yesterday about how he "somehow finds the muddiest mud hole in the neighborhood!" I've really got to remember to take the camera on our next post-rain walk...

Well, we just had our first truly sunny day in a while and we spent it playing at the park. That means I'm totally exhausted and this is going to be short, LOL! "Punked" - New Collab with The Scrappy Kat and a couple freebie masks

Well, it's been six long weeks since I posted on here - wow! Things have been um, unsettled to say the least. In that time, I've had a baby, had tons of family visit, dealt with all of us having the flu at the same time and hubby getting a respiratory infection to boot, and then to top it off, had a tree fall on the house last night (everyone is fine, thank God!). I'm hoping things settle down for a bit now and I can get back to my relaxation time: SCRAPPING! I definitely need some now!

Anyway, I have been working on some things here and there and this is the first of them: a new steampunk-themed collab with The Scrappy Kat. We had so much fun making our collab last year that we kept saying we'd find a chance to do another and here it is! I give you: "Punked". For the next week you can snag it for 40% off!
