"Return to Sender" - June BAK

It's time for another month of fun Build-A-Kits over at STS. Remember, this is where you can mix and match different kits from lots of designers to create one large coordinating kit for yourself. This month I decided to go a slightly different direction than I have been lately and this kit seems a little romantic to me. :) I'm calling it "Return to Sender" and have several 'post' related items, including a layered psd envelope so you can insert your own letters or journaling. "The One That Got Away" - Freebie Collab

Janice, of JW-Digiscraps, and I have gotten together to create a great fishing collab. I think I got a little carried away, because my part alone is, well, pretty huge! LOL! There are 23 Papers, 51 unique elements (along with some recolored ones), and 2 alphas: a full silver alpha and a mixed case scribbled paper alpha. Plus, Janice must have liked it just as well because hers is huge too! For this week only, you can grab both these kits for free on our blogs. Happy (Early) Mother's Day! New Kit, "Love, Your Son"

Are you a mom of boys? Are you more likely to get a "love you, mom" with mud pies and a fistful of petals than a tea party and a bouquet of roses? Maybe you're not a girly-girl and traditional Mother's Day kits just don't suit your style?

As I was thinking about scrapping Mother's Day pictures, I realized that I didn't really have the kind of kit that would show off the relationship my son and I have so I decided to create one!

There are still flowers, after all, it is Mother's Day, but you'll find no pink and the "flowers" are not your traditional ones. I also included a messy bouquet of weeds and a scatter of petals since my son is way more likely to present me with a chubby fist of these when we're outside than anything else!
