Afternoon Delight Blog Train

The STS blog train this month is GORGEOUS! I decided to do just a small portion because the train is also getting HUGE. :) I always love seeing all the kit previews come up and the different ideas people have for what to put in their kits and this month was no exception. Speed Scrap Tonight!

New Kits and a Speed Scrap Alert

I have two new kits to tell you about today and a speed scrap! First up is a kit by JW Digiscraps called "Sweet Nostalgia". Janice has done such a great job with this kit - the colors and elements are just gorgeous. You can snag this at either her Stuff to Scrap store or Divine Digital store (and it's on sale this first week). Here's a preview of it and a layout I made. If you come back tomorrow, I'll have a QP using it for you too.
Next up is a threebie collab by The Scrappy Kat, Flower Scraps, and Growing Pains Scrapped called "October Road". This kit is full of awesome fall papers and elements and you can snag it for free this week. Here's a preview of Kat's part, check out her blog to download it and see the other portions. Happy First Day of Fall!

Apparently Texas has decided to cool off for a day in honor of fall! It's actually raining here (despite the past 25 months of drought) and it's only 70 degrees outside, which is pretty spectacular for here! :) STS is having a sale to honor the first day of fall too! You can head over there for some pretty great deals right now, so if you were having trouble getting into the fall spirit (like I have been with 90 degree days), maybe this will change your spirits!

Off the Radar!

So, earlier this week, through annoying circumstances mostly beyond my control, I lost my whole digiscrap stash. Ug! This included kits I'd gotten as well as kits I was working on. :(

Needless to say, I feel like I've sort of fallen off the digiscrapping radar this week. Not only have I sort of neglected my CT duties, but I haven't really done much scrapping of my own either.

Well, I'm trying to hop back on the wagon and get some information to you! So here goes:

Nicole, over at STS is having a CT call! She is one of the first designers I discovered when I began, so getting to use her kits is definitely an opportunity. Check out all the information in the flyer below. You've got another week to get your application in!

Also, and this is just incredible, the designers over at STS have put together a rockin' collab for birthday scrappin'. You can go buy the kit...BUT, if you are registered in the forum and have your profile set to show your birthday, you will get the kit for FREE as a birthday present! Wow, how awesome is that?!?!?! I can't wait because my birthday is in three short months! Yay!
